The
"Quartet" Tour: November, 2001

Before all that AssAir nonsense, I took a second to pose
with my work tools of choice. Thankfully I didn't have to remove any
condoms from the stage before I set up my rig.

Somewhere on the road from Charleston to Washington,
D.C, in the heart of Appalachia, sat this too-good-to-pass-by eatery,
where we demolished plates of eggs, biscuits and gravy with fearsome
abandon. First, Hillary "Momma" Manning serves up the signage. Then
the group puts on their roadside breakfast faces (left to right): Rick,
Nick, tech Dennis Hill, Momma, Keneally.

OK, it's the money shot. Exowax Executive-Everything
Scott Chatfield shows off the booty at The North Star Bar in Philadelphia,
PA. The camera got a good workout in Philly.

From the North Star's balcony, we capture the inner-workings
of the mind of a technical genius, our very own Dennis Hill. One can
only imagine the complexities of thought that embody his every motion.

Still backstage in Philly, Mike and I perform yet another
in our ever-changing series of pre-show rituals. As you can see, I don't
take kindly to being disturbed during such an occasion.

An hour later the ritual pays off, and Keneally and I
manage to make the same we're-playing-some-serious-music-here face at
the same exact moment. More effort goes into these shows than you think.
