Like the first MullMuzzler record, Keep It To Yourself, this session was Produce-Your-Own-Bass-Tracks time. The ADAT tapes were flown in from the other side of the country, and James LaBrie (bless his Canadian heart) basically said "You've got twelve studio hours. Have at it." I did, this being the first record I tracked entirely with the SWR Mo' Bass. I used every sound I could think of, thinking that James might make me do something over again, but hoping that maybe he'd let it all slide, crazy sounds and all. He did.

I don't know how many Dream Theater fans make it over this way, but I think they'll agree with me that this second effort bests the first in both songwriting and sound quality. I had fun doing this.
