Like most tracks I've done
for Steve, "Melissa's Garden" was a last-minute call of
the "can you be here tonight, I've got this song?" variety.
I came in never having heard it and did it section by section, swaying
back and forth with the (purposefully) floating time of Steve and
Gregg Bissonette's existing tracks. Then, months later, the surprise:
he forgot to credit me in the liner notes! He did so, belatedly
yet kindly, on his following release, Alive In An Ultra World.
