Getting included on this for-charity CD (net proceeds went to the City Of Hope) was just one of the many incredibly cool things that SWR has done for me. I got to see my name listed alongside that of Marcus Miller, Jimmy Haslip, Michael Manring, Alex Al and Neil Stubenhaus. Hard to believe. I wouldn't have necessarily picked "Egg Zooming" as the Beller track of all time, but they wanted an instrumental, and this was the best thing I had on tape. And it was double-tracked at that, since no one bass player could ever play the bassline underneath the main theme.

Irony: though I have used SWR amps and speaker cabinets fairly exclusively since 1991, no SWR gear was used in the recording of this track. Oops.
