This was done near Venice in a small studio, and the vibe was somewhere between garage and hi-tech.  It felt like we were playing in someone's basement, and I think it helped the angry edge on the track - at least for me.  The bass sound is a lot dirtier than I usually prefer, but when you're covering a Pink Floyd tune with an aggro-pop-metal feel, it works well enough.

The record has some really interesting tracks on it, much better than you'd expect from the typical tribute CD deal.  I won't spoil some of the reworkings, except to say that it's a double-CD, most of the key Floyd standards are there, and any Floyd fan should pick this up without hesitation.

Personal note: I really wanted to do "Sheep," but we just didn't have enough time to work it up.  And someone else did a pretty good job with it anyway.
