Well, all good things come to an end, and that’s what’s happening here. I’ve been blogging (or, as we used to call it, “web journaling”) since 1995, either on the front page of a site, or in longer form deeper in the site. But times have changed. Seems that having “blogs” on the front page of your website are a thing of the past, and social media feeds are where real-time updates happen these days. Yeah yeah, Facebook and Twitter and Instagram aren’t the kinds of platforms we used to wax poetic on in the old days when we walked to school two miles in the snow, uphill in both directions…but as they say, don’t hate the player, hate the game.

So we’ve got a brand new website that’s all modern and stuff. This site went static on May 14, 2019, just before the launch of my third solo album “Scenes From The Flood”. You can find my real-time updates on my social media feeds.

If you’re still able to find your way here, we’re leaving the whole site intact. Call it a museum of sorts. It goes pretty deep. Not like the smaller sites of today. Maybe you’ll find something interesting.

Either way, I’m glad you’ve followed along, and I hope to see you out there on the more modern interwebz, where all internet traditions are honored for time immemorial.
