Aristocrats “Culture Clash” World Tour Done – Now Off To South America

Well, That Is That. After 15 months and over 100 shows around the world, the Aristocrats’ “Culture Clash” World Tour is now in the books. T H A N K Y O U to everyone all over the world who came out to see us play way too many notes and make funny noises with toy animals and smartphone synth apps. BOING, we’ll do it again…sometime next year.

Here’s an amazing photo essay from The Aristocrats’ gig in Vietnam, which somehow symbolizes the amazingness and improbability of it all.

I now get 9 days at home before leaving for South America with Joe Satriani. It will be my very first trip there and it’s long overdue. Check out the dates on the calendar page. You’ll see a Dethklok one-off gig in L.A. on October 25, plus more Satriani dates in Australia and New Zealand in November (first time for me there as well). So, you know, it’s worth the click.

What else? Here’s the official tour-ending Aristocrats wrap-up post from their website, with some exclusive news about future releases and shows.

And here’s a photo album (on Facebook, sorry) from my recent trip to The Blue Lagoon in Iceland. Seriously, I can’t make this stuff up.  Here’s a preview pic from that.

I don’t really know what else to say, except, thank you to everyone who apparently cares enough about what I’m doing to make this surreal life possible. I’ll do it for as long as I’m able.

BB
