The recording of View happened so fast and in such concentrated form (eleven tracking days, fifteen hours each) that I have very little recollection of some major chunks of it. Fortunately for me, Wayne Perez, Wes Wehmiller and Yogi were actively documenting the behind-the-scenes action at Lawnmower and Garden Supplies studio in April and May of 2003.

April 27, 2003 - a major basics tracking day, and the most folks hanging around at any one time. Top, left to right: guitarist Griff Peters, drummer Joe Travers, writer Eva Silva. Bottom, left to right: Ed Monsef, myself, the Webmistress Katy Towell, bassist/songwriter Wes Wehmiller (writer of "Bite"), Nick D'Virgilio.

The unique band for "Supermarket People" stands at attention. Left to right: me, Mike Keneally,
Toss Panos, Jeff Babko.

Griff Peters, an exacting master of the details of guitar tone, only mikes his rare vintage amplifiers in the most exquisite acoustical surroundings.

Nick and I look on while Yogi smiles at the thought of tracking some nasty guitar sounds for "Projectile."
