Thank You
Sunday, January 31, 2010
As I get ready to drive the last leg of my 7,000 mile January road trip (OKC to Nashville), I just wanted to thank EVERYONE who came out to see me play with either Kira, Keneally, or even just myself in any of these fine places I just visited:
Denver, CO Park City, UT Monterey, CA Anaheim, CA (NAMM) Orland, CA Arcata, CA Phoenix, AZ Albuquerque, NM
It's been an amazing trip, made even more amazing by the incredibly cool people I got to hang with along the way. Thanks, y'all. See you again soon, I hope.
Much more about WesFest 5 coming soon. Maybe after I sleep a bit. No, not while I'm driving.

Another Late-Booked D'addario Clinic - Phoenix, Wed. 1/27
Thursday, January 21, 2010
Call me crazy, but I just confirmed another clinic on my drive home across the country. This one's in Phoenix...in a week! Can we turn some folks out in only 7 days? We're gonna find out:
Wednesday, January 27, 7pm Guitar Center Scottsdale 8949 East Indian Bend Road Scottsdale, AZ 85250 (480) 362-1150
Again, this fine event is sponsored by D'addario Strings. And many thanks to Deanna at GC Scottsdale for being up for this - she's as crazy as I am, apparently. See you there, desert rats.

Albuquerque, NM Bass Clinic In Late January
Tuesday, January 19, 2010
This is a last-minute thing, but since I'm driving back across the country from L.A. to Nashville in the end of January, why not do some clinics for my fine friends at D'addario Strings, whose ProSteels I use and abuse and still sound great?
Thursday, January 28, 7pm Bryan Beller Bass Clinic Sponsored by D'addario Strings at Grandma's Music & Sound 9310 Coors Boulevard Northwest Albuquerque, NM 87114-4006 (505) 292-0341
Grandma's is a killer dealer - they rule. I hardly ever get to do stuff like this in New Mexico. If you're anywhere close, I'd love to see you.
AND, don't forget about WesFest 5, featuring headliner Tal Wilkenfeld, at The Roxy on Sunday 2/28. Yes, I'll be talking about that a lot between now and then.

NAMM was great. Got many stories to tell but I'm still on the road so I gotta keep moving. Got a house concert with Kira Small tonight. More MyKeneally gigs in NoCal later this week. And then it's the long drive home, with a stop in ABQ (and maybe more cities along the way, TBD).
Have I mentioned how much I LOVE this new website design? Gah, it's awesome.

Latest BellerBytes E-Mail - More WesFest 5 Detail
Thursday, January 14, 2010
If you're a subscriber to BellerBytes - and you really should be! - then you already got the text I'm about to point to.
But if not, I just reprinted the whole thing on my MySpace blog (don't ask why it's not posted in full here, it's a long formatting story). It's me really going into detail on WesFest 5, what's it's all about, how to support it, and all that good stuff.
Please take a look if you're so inclined.
And don't forget to check out the event details at the WesFest website!

WesFest 5 Launch Announcement
Wednesday, January 13, 2010
I'm going to keep this brief because I'll be talking about this a lot over the next six weeks. But here's the news:
WesFest 5 will be at The Roxy, on Sunday 2/28/10, and the headliner is going to be...
Tal Wilkenfeld.
Yes, really!!
WesFest, for anyone who doesn't know, is an annual concert event that serves as the centerpiece for an annual fundraising drive for the Wes Wehmiller Scholarship fund at Berklee College Of Music. I am fortunate to be a part of the team that helps to make it happen every year. Past headliners have included Mike Keneally, Stu Hamm, Andrew Gouche, and Jimmy Haslip/Allan Holdsworth. It's an amazing, 5-act, 4 hour show.
But even for us, this is huge. Tal Wilkenfeld? At The Roxy? You really want to be at this one, trust me. Like I said, I'll have much more to say about this soon.
For now, just click here for ticket ordering info, more details on the event, and how to donate to the fundraising drive.
Thanks y'all, BB
Calendar Updates
Saturday, January 2, 2010
I'm still getting used to the idea that I can update the front page anytime I want. It's pretty cool, especially when I do stuff like update the calendar.
Mike Keneally and I are doing three of his patented (OK, patent pending) MyKeneally duo shows. Two of them are private affairs, one is open to the public. If you're a Keneally fan, or just a music fan, and you don't know about these superawesomelyspecial events, you should really check them out.
More news soon - especially about WesFest 5. Man, do I have some exciting news to share about that.
